In 2025, the 21st edition of this most important meeting of the swimming pool and wellness industry in Europe took place. It is held every two years and brings experts, manufacturers, and technology leaders from all over the world to Germany.

"For us, it was the most important exhibition of last year," says company owner Pavel Šponar, adding: "It brings together pool builders from all over Europe and, in the field of technology, from all over the world. If you want to know where the industry is heading, Aquanale is the place to be."

CENTRAL-POOL® MADE BY CENTRALPLAST STAND  

Centralplast has long been one of the premium exhibitors here. Last year, we built an exhibition covering an area of almost 120 square meters, continuing our regular participation from previous years. "We are already perceived as a traditional exhibitor and we also have the support of the exhibition center itself," adds Pavel Šponar.

At the stand, the company did not focus on the quantity of products on display, but on detail and craftsmanship. Visitors were able to take a close look at a swimming pool, staircase, and welded bar with overflow—elements where the quality of the work is most evident. "An expert doesn't look at whether it's a pool or a staircase. They look at the corners, welds, and connections. That's where you can see the real quality," explains the company owner.

In addition to its products, the company also presented its own digital tools. These include an application designed primarily for foreign B2B partners, which allows them to easily configure swimming pools for final customers. "The application works on the principles of virtual reality. Salespeople can show customers specific solutions directly on a tablet and order them immediately," explains Pavel Šponar.

For Centralplast, the Aquanale trade fair is primarily a place for personal meetings. "We consider it a meeting point with partners from regions where we already operate. At the same time, we are looking for new opportunities where expansion makes sense from a logistical point of view," says Šponar. Centralplast's competitive advantage is based primarily on people. "We have managed to attract and retain employees who are not only excellent at top-quality welding. And that is something we can offer very well in Western markets too," he adds.

The entire industry is becoming significantly digitized. "Today, you can control your pool via your phone. It's part of a smart home—you can see the water condition, chemicals, blinds, and technology operation," says Pavel Šponar.

At the same time, interest in polypropylene as a material is growing. "More and more manufacturers are moving away from concrete or foil to polypropylene. It's a step towards the quality we've been working with for years," adds the company owner.

"If you want to swim next summer, the best time to order a pool is in the fall or winter—ideally from September to December. This will give you and us enough time to think everything through and prepare so that your new pool exceeds all your original expectations."
